OK, now we're inbound. Aircraft are all individual flights and each aircraft has it's RTB Doctrine set to no.

SEAD strike might be a little behind the F-111s.

Four Aardvarks down, Three aircrew ejected one over land and two over the water. Might be able to recover the ones over the water but Puffy 12 is going to be on CNN tomorrow!

I lost 10 A-6s over downtown Benghazi. Think I had 4-5 were the aircrews ejected. I did not try and recover them given the SAM threat.

So the F-111Fs were an utter disaster. Lost 5 Aardvarks and now the Navy is going in. That said, I'm going down in flames with this scenario. As luck would have it the only strike that went off well was the Tripoli Military Terminal and I got five Candids, but trading 5 Candids for 5 Aardvaks is hardly a fair trade! That and the captured aircrew on CNN and yup I below it!

Well final evaluation, I suck!

Definitely a well researched and challenging scenario, apparently too challenging for my CMO skills! I need to go back and watch the SEAD videos on YouTube!

That makes me feel a little bit better! I invested so much time on the USAF strike the USN missions were on autopilot and kind of anticlimactic.

I had 3 Crotale batteries randomly spawn right in the middle of Benghazi. Were able to intercept the attacks on the Benina and the Military Barracks.

The key SAMS to takeout are the SA-3s. SA-2s can't fire if you come in below 3,500 AGL but you can't go below the SA-3s.

Nothing you can really do about the AAA and SHORAD SAMs but get lucky.

Thanks again for the AAR. Libyan AD is still looking too good. They had, by most accounts, the most sophisticated AD in the world at the time but they were very poorly trained. Not to mention some of their SAM operators had harsh lesson taught to them a few weeks before in one of the Attain Document operations.

Along with a chance at delay their initial reaction I'm thinking about making the AD have a higher chance of turning their radars off. From my research, a lot but not all of the SAMs were blind fired. Since CMO doesn't simulate that, except maybe in the damage roll, I think having less firing might be a good alternative.

Are they set to Novice? I didn't look, but if not that is something I would consider.

Yes they are.

In addition to a slightly higher chance to blink their radars, I've modified the script to adjust the SAM WRA on an individual unit bases. This will essentially blink their WRA settings along with the radars. This should help stagger the SAM batteries coming online.

New version should be out sometime this weekend or early next week. I need to do a play through to verify all the revised AD changes are working.

Hi everyone, I've updated the scenario to v1.1. Download link in the first post. Steam workshop version has also been updated.

This isn't the final version I had planned. The special action to allow overflight of France or Spain effects the scenario time as well as all the ready times. Scripting is done but I need to play test it a few times to make sure the timing still works properly. Since that's the only thing that was holding up releasing I cut it for this release.

I moved the designer notes, hints, etc out of the mission briefing into a PDF. Its included with the zip file. Steam users please use the google drive link on the Seam Workshop page or download the zip file.

Cheers,
Kushan
