With the sale a question popped into my mind, does this game include a scenario that deals solely with the Pacific theatre?

Alternatively, is there a way to delegate other fronts / nations to the AI and deal solely with the Pacific theatre?

Thanks.

There is no scenario with only the Pacific. But you can give the AI controll over Germany and Italy and only play Japan. With Britain and USA it should be hard to only play this front. But i think you can only controll China directly and take command over the other AI played forces in the Pacific.

Among the majors you can choose to play with those you want.

I particularly like to play solely with China. Or with the UK/India. Or you can do (almost) unrelated combinations like China and USSR.
When I play with Germany, I often move some Italian units, to cover a flank or just because they are in the way, and it is curious to see the AI then “correcting” the moves. Once I had a flank exposed in USSR because the Italian AI decided to retreat. Curiously it was near Stalingrad, around 1942.

I've been twiddling with just such a map [linky], working with Crispy's version first trying to get the AI to play more optimally, without much luck so far.
