I thought it might be an idea to have all the abbreviations in the game in one thread. I had started to make my own list from ones i have picked up in the manual and forums but still there are some i do not know what they mean. Will be handy for new players in the future too. Feel free to add abbreviations i haven't included yet and i can add them to this list at the top. Also if some of these are incorrect please advise. Those with ? mean not officially known but likely.

TOE stands for Table of Organization and Equipment. It's military linguo for what subformations are in a given unit (or units in a formation, I do not have a solid grasp on the terminology here, my apologies) and what gear are they equipped with.

At any rate, good idea. Thanks for your effort!

How about "RDN Bonus"? What does that mean? My SHQ commander keeps rolling for it.

Good idea. CUR means "current troops in the unit" (current strength level) as opposed to the unit's TOE.

All bow before the holy LIS

Political Power Point?

These kind of camel cased names are probably the names of variables from the program itself. They combine the general meaning of the thing with a certain source or price or whatever. Anyway, I think they were a shortcut by Vic, intended to be replaced by a different wording when there is extra time available.

Is .Rel = Relations? this is in the Factions Overview. To do with relations with the player? Not sure what None -6 means exactly under power base.

This is a thread that needs to be stickyed and maintained. I've hunted for a glossary of acronyms and abbreviations a several times.
Thanks for putting this one together.

Yeah getting this sticky'd would be good, i am still maintaining it.

In Items tab there is CONS, does this mean Consumption? but how would that fit with metal? food yes. And what is difference to consumption (if i am correct on abbrev) and out. Outgoing and Consumption would be the same thing to my mind.

CAS isn't 'casualties'. It is 'Cultural Adaptation Score' which is used in cities to evaluate how closely they are aligned to the regime culture.

It depends how it is written.

CAS is indeed "Cultural Adaptation Score".

Short/Long Cas. however relates to Shortterm and Longterm Casualties.

CAS is, but Cas., which is what I wrote, is indeed casualties.

Check ingame the population screen of a city for example.

Edit: ok yes what zgrssd wrote :)

Anyone know what RTR-ING means? it is seen in Details after Combat in individual list.

After watching a video, i believe it means Retreating.
