1.03 beta 12 Testing reveals that the more of your own troops are involved in a crackdown on the Syndicate, the more casualties you suffer. The ideal number of troops participating appears to be 0. Which seems rather backwards. Examples starting from the same savegame turn with different number of troops in the capital 9000 troops (4400 SHQ regulars + 4600 mix of regular and militia), 1000 security, 94 operational roll => success and 2000 troop casualties 9000 troops (4400 SHQ regulars + 4600 mix of regular and militia), 1000 security, 75 operational roll => success and 2000 troop casualties 4400 SHQ troops, 1000 security, 117 operational roll => success and 1800 troop casualties 4400 SHQ troops, 1000 security, 66 operational roll => success and 1800 troop casualties 2400 SHQ troops, 1000 security, 75 operational roll => success and 1600 troop casualties 2400 SHQ troops, 1000 security, 47 operational roll => success and 1600 troop casualties 0 SHQ troops, 1000 security, 113 operational roll => success and 0 troop casualties 0 SHQ troops, 1000 security, 75 operational roll => success and 0 troop casualties Savegames will be emailed.
