I've just finished Strike Tutorial #2 - Driving in the Daisies.

Two questions if I may...

What drives the altitude at which the strike mission is flown?
For the recon mission I specified a Transit, Station and Attack Altitude.

Below the target was a time value which varied but was around 29-30 mins until I blew it up.
What does that denote?

TIA

Ok - I think I might have answered Qu 1 myself...

I'm guessing it's the Lo-Lo-Lo Loadout Profile given to the Strike Role.

Two other questions:

Can that be overridden by the player?
It also mentions "Cruise at SL" and "..dash on target at SL and Mil." I'm guessing "Mil" is the preset speed setting but what does SL stand for?

I think the time stamp below your target was the last time you achieved a positive ID on it

For strike missions - your aircraft adopt their loadout profile as you indicate - you can manually change this by selecting the AC and overriding its altitude but you should do this with caution. The AC fuel and range calculations are based on its profile, messing with that may cause the AC to go BINGO before the mission is complete.

I'm not sure what 'SL' stands for but 'Mil' is 'Full military Power' of 'full speed' in game terms. So it will use cruise speed until the dash point then full speed to the target and cruise home. ?SL? Strike Level? not sure

I thought it stood for Sea Level. Over land, lowest available altitude.

Is that consistent with a Lo profile for your mission?
