I have found that trading with high Trade skill SHQ Commander allows to generate infinite amount of money using Trade option.
The idea is that if SHQ Commander Trade skill is high (I have one with 108 skill total), he would be able to buy consistently at a lower price than he sells. So, player can just consequently buy-sell some resource (within the same turn!), and getting free money from that.
Moreover, when the player sells, traders can actually pay more money than they have in cash (after the skill roll). As a result, not only player can easily take all the money from traders for free, but it is also possible to generate an infinite amount of additional credits, which traders didn't have in the first place.
Essentially, as long as you have good Trade skill SHQ Commander, you can just take all the money and goods from the traders for free.
I think 2 things need to be done to prevent this:
1) significantly tune dowm trade skill bonus for player-based deals, so the player could never buy from traders at a lower price then he sells.
2) forbid traders to pay more than they have, after trade skill rolls.
The exploit is easily replicable, you need only SHQ Commander with high Trade skill.
I am currently playing a multiplayer game, and I enjoy it a lot, there is so much strategical and tactial depth in PvP wars. But this exploit gives an easy way to cheat, so I hope it could be fixed!
