Technically only 12 states out of 50 have fires burning. So its not like 50% of the USA is on fire, I know we also had the double hurricane, but where I live the only issue we have is the same old issue with the algae in Lake Erie.

Yes, some places get friendly with their storms and name them.

As far as Lake Erie, properly treat both the sewage as well as the farm waste and don't use too much fertilizer. Get more zooplankton to eat the algae as well as the small fish. That could also help the walleyed pike population as well. Of course, you could also have mesh bags with sterilized Zebra and Quagga mussels hanging around to clean up the algae.

Those sound like good suggestions to me, I am not a biologist, wonder why the powers that be don't do something about it.

As far as the garbage and sewage solid, there is a process to turn them into oil. It can also be done at a profit.

I won't go into the details on my thought of why or why not, that would be political.

Here is something else that can help Lake Erie as well as many other places:

Cargill joins regenerative agriculture movement, sets goal for 10 million acres
Company says it will help farmers convert farmland to regenerative practices.

https://www.startribune.com/cargill-joins-regenerative-agriculture-movement-sets-goal-for-10-million-acres/572432302/?refresh=true

While as a percentage of total acreage may be small, that is still a lot of land and it is a start. It takes small steps and then others can see how it is done and then join in.

I could state more but then that could get political.

I like the sound of it. We need to start using our supposed superior minds, and start doing things smarter, not 'just the same ole way'.

Run a vehicle on turkey offal:

Anything Into Oil
Technological savvy could turn 600 million tons of turkey guts and other waste into 4 billion barrels of light Texas crude each year.

Anything Into Oil
Turkey guts, junked car parts, and even raw sewage go in one end of this plant, and black gold comes out the other end.

Read them, think about it, and maybe you can figure out why it is not being done. For further discussion, a pm.

For something else to think about, in the 1890s there were about 2,500,000 people in New York City, New York State, USA and there were about 250,000 horses there which were eating and drinking. What those horses ate and drank came out the other end. Think of the pleasant fragrance in the muggy summers, with the flies as well, then a rain storm finally clearing it out to the East and Hudson rivers . . .

It's been all dismal grey rain showers accompanied by fog here today. They never looked so good.
