I suggest that you go to school and actually learn something. I would suggest that you study economics and political science not to mention history and philospohy.

Sieg Heil, Komerade.

Okay. Be the vituperative person you are instead of refuting my assertion.

You are the one making ad hominem attacks with insufficient data.

Wow...full blown Neo-Nazi. Matrix hits new lows!!!

There you go with another ad hominem attack. You probably don't know what it means, do you?

Better to endure an "ad hominem attack" than to let your Nazi sloganeering go unanswered.

You still did not answer as to whether or not you know what an "ad hominem" is.

Have you reported me yet?

I have to ask. When did the US eliminate wage and price controls? What were the tax rates on upper income brackets in the 'good old days'? For that matter, what were the corporate tax rates? Say, maybe, the '50 in general? I am aware that wage and price controls persisted in to the 70s...History is a very long song.

And, to the subject - I seriously doubt that the sensation of a 500lb bomb dropping on one's head will ever be truly 'obsolete'

Well to some extent wage and price controls have never gone away. We still have minimum wage laws, and things like milk and cheese prices are federally protected. The tax rates on high earners in the 50s was something like 80%, and some want those rates back. But I will stop there as this is well off topic and maybe there is a better thread to discuss politics and economics.
