I forgot about TLD. That's two great Close Combat titles in which movies Connery made an appearance.

His scene in TLD was very short but I thought he did a very credible job with the character.

Sean Connery stared in many good films. Among the less mentioned films, I do seem to remember that I liked him in these:

Highlander
The Name of the Rose
Entrapment
The Russia House
The First Great Train Robbery
Time Bandits


There can be only one Sean Connery.

Status: offline 		Well I always think of Sean Connery as the James Bond. He just seemed to have more 'gravitas' than Moore - but maybe he was just luckier with the scripts? Whatever, he was a very, very watchable actor and it was really sad to see his last photo. Still 90 - not a bad innings at all.

Status: offline 		I'd say Moore seems to me like a makeover of Bond into less of a 'man's man' and more of a 'romantic ladies man'.

@Orm, loved Highlander and The Name of the Rose. Two more of my favorites.

I agree with you that Sean Connery seemed to have more 'gravitas'. However, I do not think that Connery got better scripts than Moore. In my humble opinion they both had about equal quality in scripts. Some good, and some bad. Moore, on the other hand, had better special effects than Connery.
