help Please...Which changes to a DB , arrival dates, AA ammo, replacements etc will be applied to and older version of a mod already in play?

Is there any way with players mutual agreements that a new version can be subsituted for an older version... just out of interest.

Cav.

I have done some testing in my PBEM , changes you do to ; Air Groups , Task Forces , Scenario and AI dont take effect untill you start a new one. Ship class and Aircraft pages you can change almost everything , if you do changes to a lot of Ship classes you gotta go to ships page in editor go to tools and use set ships page like this and apply , this will apply the changes done to ship class to ingame ships

You can change TOE of land units in the locations page , you cant add new bases but you can add daily supply/fuel/oil etc to any base you own at the start of the game

You can do changes to devices and add new devices but those devices will be instantly available , ignoring the available date. Changes done to Industry outputs page in devices will not take effect untill new game

Ok thanks - what about ships in a production situation like Japan. Will they come in at their new revised date say 1/1/42 over 1/2/42?

I vaguely recall it is possible, but ships will stay as they were defined when game started. However, they will be treated as damaged now, and you can repair them into changed characteristics.
One problem - when you change class, that will not change named ship automatically. You have to make it manually, or globally as Evoken described.
