On second thought, the AI should presumably be capable of doing this already, so maybe it's already present in the game's code? Regardless, this would be useful for getting the absolute best odds when trying to attack enemy positions.

The AI seems to not attack in cascades, humans can. After raising the recon to 400 with some sacrificial militia units you have much better odds with the main battle force than calculated when going all-in. I assume.
