Impulse #9 (Allies)

Land Movement Continued:
USSR
3-3 INF 29, 54 -> 31, 53
5-4 INF 52, 147 -> Krasnokamensk
3-2 ART 62, 160 -> Vladivostok
3-3 INF 52, 156 -> Blagovyeshchensk

Air rebase:

USSR
LND3 64, 162 -> Khabarovsk

France
LND3 56, 34 -> 58, 32

CW:
LND2 (Tunis) -> Malta

End of Turn

Rolled for pact markers. Placed both German on offense. Can change this when I do end of turn.

The Soviet marker is placed on offense.

End of Turn

USA placed their entry marker versus Japan. Then they played resources to Western Allies, and one entry marker was moved to the Tension Pool (6 rolled).

End of Turn

Lousy weather, and a short turn, makes the destroyed pool rather empty.

Doesn't seem correct to me. S&S has just been added so bugs seems likely. Was there a US entry hit for doing it? If it was we can simulate a S&S by turning the appropriate number of French resources idle so that the end result is correct.

What do you say?

The Action does generate a US Entry roll, but have not put thru the roller due to uncertainty of value in the action.

We are happy to face the roll if there is value.

Right. We then have a plan of action. S&S it is.

I suppose this might generate the need for a bug report.

Grump.

Search and seizure. It has been missing so long that I forgotten it exists. Almost anyway. Could have routed the French resources from Canada instead to avoid it. That thought didn't even enter my mind.

Grump.

Wanted to return the Queens, loaded with the Australian TERR, to Gibraltar. But MWIF stops this move because there is a Dutch SUB in the port. I thought that the AUS TERR was considered a CW MP unit, and thus would be allowed to be stacked in the same hex as an aligned minor country unit.

Found the US Entry roll probability to add a marker is 2 for Axis see US Entry Actions 34, 35 and 36

Indeed.

So if the CW resources reaches France after the S&S (bug), then I will put two French resources on 'idle'. And that should do the trick. Should be the same effect as if the two CW resources traded to France were lost.

End of Turn

Italy searches CW shipping in the CSV, and seize two resources being transported from CW to France. No US reaction (5 rolled).

"This phoney war must end. This war has been going on for to long. The Axis Rebels have had the winter to come to their senses. Therefore I have here a peace agreement that I am going to offer Germany. It is the best peace that Germany can ever hope to get. We offer Germany status quo ante bellum. Italy, must, of course, give up their African colonies. And Japan must end their aggression in China. I hope that the Rebels will accept this peace treaty, or we must use arms to force them to surrender. We have prepared for a summer offensive that will reach Berlin before midsummer, but that will cost lives. So in order to save blood, toil, tears and sweat, we offer the Axis rebels a deal they can not afford to decline. Peace in our time will be reached before the end of this week."
