Absolutely, OnePercent, he's not played DW:U and it's quite obvious by the myriad of mishaps he spewed throughout the video. Off the top of my head, I remember him questioning whether or not resources were officially going to be "physicalized," how countermeasures and target tracking work, and to what extent ground combat would be visualized. In addition, he failed to acknowledge any meaningful differences between DW2 and its predecessor, instead choosing to use Stellaris as a point of reference. The video was good in the sense that it works to spread the word about our beloved gem of a game, however it really lacked some of the more distinctive improvements people like myself are aware of. Again, a few of many he missed were the changes to how hyperdrives & jumping functions, the lack of playable pirates, no orbiting planets, new resources, more control over resources, firing arcs for ships, the addition of the third dimension... the list goes on. Either I'm crazy, or he completely flopped the purpose of his video: to emphasize the many quirks and qualities DW2 brings to the table that other strategy games do not. Using DW:U as a baseline would've been a better start. It felt like he was shooting in the dark. End of nit-picky rant. Good video. Great exposure. Looking forward to more DW2 content/reviews.
