On to round four. Bel lucked out and got to move on. Now I just have to ketchup to the rest of the guys. Well back to the battle board.
US-me VS
Germans - Bel
July 1944, Visbility is 25, turns are 25 and victory frontage is on. Not sure what that means but Bell wanted it.
Points 6000 map size is 100X140
No air
All preferances on except for rarity and C&C.
Good luck Bell.

..at least for round 4. :p

Vis 25 on a 100x140 map?! I guess it's a very hazy day in France... Hehe this will be fun, I've just been robbed of my best advantage so it's to rush in close and pound with impunity.

Victory frontage just means that all VHs are in the middle.

I'll get to it tonight when I get home from work. :D

OK, so Victory Frontage apparently does NOT mean that the VHs are in the front... we both got a rear cluster. :p (scenario note: huge map means careful disposition of forces. Maneouvering will be crucial so expect mechas on both sides. Quite flat map with the usual hills and ridges running top-down in the middle with scattered mounds behind. Streams are also present, which makes for breaks in the flat terrain. Low vis, 25, so tank guns should be on pretty even grounds, at least for 3", 17lb, 76mm and the like. Also note that I hate reduced squads and will likely b*tch about it for the rest of the game... ).

Our forces spred thin due to an offensive at another sector means a challenge to everyone at the front. We are worn down after the last weeks of heavy fighting and no replacements of any significance has reported in. Some platoons are down to 60% strength! Apparently, the Amis are trying to force a breakthrough in our sector at dawn! We will crush the imperialist capitalists...

They will suffer and they will fail.

(hey Gary, ever thought of checking my sig for email addy? ;))

You did not say anything about reduced squads or visibility so I chose reduced and a visibility that is mid-range. I could be convinced to go up to visibility of 30-35 if you really want to and switch to non-reduced squads.

I would not want to take advantage of an old man you know. ;)
And I would not want you to feel that you were at a disadvantage due to a 25 visibility with all thoughs Kongstigers and Panther G's. :(

Let me know. I can restart.

Nah, let's play it out. A commander can not always have everything... :D

So much more a challenge, 6K points are not giving me a lot - panzers are EXPENSIVE. And I almost fainted when I saw the cost of a Nebelwerfer battery....so you won't see any of those. This will be fun! :)

Btw, H2H fr, right?

Reinforcements are OK to call from turn 5, if that's alright?

Gary, this is so frickin' embarrasing I have to coerce myself into writing this post;

I forgot the password! :o

I picked a "non-standard" one and didn't write it down! Stupid me! The activities this weekend was enough to erase it from my memory. I've tried 20 different ones to no avail. :(

So, where to go now? We were only in turn 1, so is it OK with you to set it up again? We can use the same settings as before.

New thread in that case?
