Precisely because you only see the posts here and are not aware of the PMs that I received. So you are commenting without knowing the whole picture. I have been stressing the word "guys" and it does not only include yourself and oldrocky. Only the affected person which is myself knows and I classify it as "harping".

I am just trying to find an opponent and why do you all (that is multiple guys) keep on bringing up someone I do not wish to play with and openly said so.
If you are in my shoes, won't you consider it "harping"

You are still missing the entire point here. To you, it may feel like "harping" with lots of other communication outside of this thread and you are welcome to feel and classify it however you see fit. The difference is pushing accusations like "harping" and "group trolling" onto other people who can't see the rest of whatever information you have is not a positive contribution to this thread or community. Also using terms like "you guys", "guys", "multiple guys", "you all", etc isn't at all helpful as its ambiguous especially when used in specific response to my post. Again reading this thread and seeing it from the perspective of someone besides yourself would probably be a useful exercise...

Please stop here and leave my thread alone, I apologise as "group trolling" is too strong a phrase. But, I still stand by the "harping".

I am just someone trying to find an opponent using a different methodlogy from everyone else.
And I stand by the freedom to choose one's opponent without too many other voices.

Sigh. Not sure there is a much better explanation that I can provide but at least you've acknowledged fault in part of your accusations. Maybe one day you'll be able to see that accusing people of "harping" when they can only see a limited part of the communication you've had is not a positive way to move things forward.

And just to set things straight, I haven't made any comments around your methodology of choosing opponents and have no issue with asking questions or quizzing potential opponents to gauge their level of experience. I'm fine with whatever methodology people choose to use as long as they are not breaking any forum rules and being a positive contributor to the community.

I do not quiz my potential opponents. Just a couple of questions on their thoughts on the areas of the game.

Apply only if you are comfortable with a little discussion upfront. After all, it is a long game and this helps to prevent early resignations.
