Well well well, hello there !

No, this thread isn't about the real Unternehmen Zitadelle, but about the wargame we made with my brother and that has been on Steam for ... well a year today !

Some of you might already know me, others not, I'm Valentin, 22 years old indie dev trying to make something refreshing in the world of wargames !

For the occasion, we have been hard at work fixing bugs and adding new features for my part, and Jules, my brother has been drawing 180 new tiles :)

Today we are releasing a very big update (3.0) with new and improved counters !

And because a picture is worth a. thousand words, let me join a couple of pictures to this thread hahaha.
And a little link to the change log because why not: change log on steam

I'm working hands in hands with players to implement their ideas / wishes, due to my lack of experience with wargames, I would be happy to hear what you guys could suggest next !

Cheers

Nice work man! I downloaded the demo a week ago but haven't had time to check it out. This look basically forces me to dive into it.

Just one question - why the name? It suggests a game with a narrow scope which is the exact oppostite of your game. Might miss out on a lot of people?

Thanks ! :D
Haha well I'm glad you didn't try it, you would probably have been disappointed by the old counters ;) But now, there's nothing holding you back !

The question everyone is asking ... hahaha. I don't really have an answer to that. All the names I wanted were already taken, and a year ago when I started I didn't think it would be such a huge project so I didn't really care about the name, and now I feel like it's too late to change since everyone knows the game by its current name, so, yup :/
If people just stop at the name, then that's too bad :( In the end, I'm not here to make money, so if I don't have the perfect marketing tactics it's not that important :)
As soon as you click on it it is mentioned that it is not just about this battle :)
