You didn't say wargames so:
Hearts of Iron series (1, 2, Darkest Hour, 3, and 4+mods)
Civilization series (1, 2, 3, 4, and 5)

Nothing else is close. Too many vying for third place for me to choose.

As of today...

Steel Panthers in all forms.
Battletech.
Rise of Flight United.
Honorable mention Total War Empire.

I don't know but I spent innumerable hours on Il2 1946 and Red Baron 3d.

Heroes of Might and Magic III
Alpha Centauri
(these were the first two computer games I bought, and in hindsight are considered two of the top games of all time)
EU 2 and 4

MMORPGs:
Elder Scrolls Online
Lord of the Rings Online
Dark Age of Camelot

Boardgames:
The Russian Campaign
lots of others but none come close in terms of time played
