I have accounts on Facebook and Twitter, but I seldom use them. Those have got some bad rep over bans & censorship, so I registered on Gab just recently. Look at that, Gab has a Wargamers group (looks like messages aren't visible to unregistered users). Joined! I'm most active on Discord, and I watch videos on YouTube where I also make an occasional comment. I've also got Whatsapp account, but so far I have only used it among the family. Rarely I make use of IRC.
If you want to chat with me in real-time or invite me to game, you can find me on Discord with my first name (Matti) on Matrix Games and Hex! servers.

I have my circle of friends on WhatsApp. I opened a Twitter account when the pandemic started, mostly to have head-ups about what's happening. Boy, what a stupidity magnet Twitter is

Erm... does this forum count? I don't really know the boundaries of what constitutes social media.
Wikipedia gives some examples. And yes, this Matrix Games Forums can be CONSIDERED as one. As does Usenet and BBS. I have used those too, but it's been years since last time.

Me 2 Lobster, just this forum, Lock & Load and Blizzard.
heh i wont go back to Blizzard or World of Warcraft, its bad over there. Like players been saying anal this, anal that, trumplins and hardly any talks about something creative in trade/general chat. Use to have good ol chuck norris jokes, but that is long gone now. Sadly to see those kids reading all that, i know can block some of it under the option menu, but that is not enough.
I've become a fan of Steam. I've toned down my enthusiasm for FB hobby-specific groups. Socially stunted people are everywhere.
I've learned to distrust anything on the internet. Seeing is not automatically believing, and is often depressing.
I don't use any other apps, but I also never post via cellphone.
I'm trying to return to the 70s when most of my day/life wasn't on a device (unless playing a good wargame). Building lots of models. Doing lots of paintings. And stopping to read my books in the sun while out riding my bike.

This forum (and mainly THE THREAD!!! ) has been my "home on the internet" for many years now. I have a fb account and used it quite a bit to keep up with groups and old military and school friends, but I've really drifted away from it over the last month or so. Don't have the app on my phone anymore, either. I'll keep the account as a way to reach out to distant friends, but that's about it. I don't have a twitter account, but look there occasionally for news updates about my Carolina Hurricanes.
Wow, post #18,000 to describe how little social media I use.

Well... since this forum does seem to count. I use this forum. And nothing else.

I just do TheBlitz and here. I really have only one game that interests me.
I tried FB and found it a waste of my time. My wife took a little longer but came to the same conclusion. Simply too many horrible people with "keyboard courage" that would say something they would never say to your 'face'.
But, I am old school and will die old school.

I had a page on Facebook and, thanks to it, both my elementary school friends and high-school friends managed to find each other again. We organised some meetings and they were happy occurrences.
Now the page lays abandoned. But I love to say that I'm among the 0.0001% of Facebook users that used FB for what it was meant for

My one defining internet characteristic. I'm the same in person as I am online. I mean what I say, and I say what I mean.

Yes, I've seen that in you. I'm the same. I'm about clarity over agreement. But, I must have civil discussion along the way. Facebook seems to be a place for those who want to call people names and belittle them, from afar. I'm for stand in front of me and do that. If they don't pee their pants, of course.

None other than a few forums.
I never will use Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. I live in the real world.
Those things are just giant spying machines or at best echo chambers.

I largely agree and understand the dislike of FB and social media as a whole.
If I were to come into a million-plus dollars, my use for social media would immediately cease. I'd be too busy enjoying the offline world. Me, my tiny home, a truck to pull it. Social media would be the last thing I'd want to do with my day.
But, I'm currently stuck in my apartment, more or less stuck in my town, more or less unable to get very far. I have friends in distant places. They are the only ones I wish to communicate with. My 'Friend' list is particularly small. I don't seek out new contacts. I'm ok with the occasional newcomer to my circle. But the 'Find New Friends' feature is one I never use.
I also realized I needed a reason to be on any forum, beyond expressing opinions. This is where I buy my computer wargames. As well as a few Steam titles. I know of many wargamer centric locations online. But they don't sell the games.

We are all stuck in one way or another.
Hit me up on Facebook and we can discuss it...

Tumblr and Instagram - mainly because I'm an artist and I'm trying to build an audience to have money. Besides that various forums and Steam. Also, youtube. There are many good hobby channels on youtube now.
Used to use Deviant Art but it got invaded by manipulative mass-faving artists and then by outright bots.
