Status: offline 		Starting in 1941, Gary Grigsby's War in the East 2 covers one of the most brutal conflicts in human history. This bitter fight to the end between the Third Reich and the Soviet Union, is lovingly modelled and detailed from the highest strategic overview to the smallest logistical decision. GGWiiE2 is a complete overhaul of the first game. It is richer, more historical, more encompassing and is the most accurate representation of this conflict ever conceived.

Sounds like either your download was corrupted or your anti-virus/security software may be interfering. I'd suggest a re-download to a fresh file as that will most likely resolve this for you.

Status: offline 		Oh wow! But yes, download rates are terrible... I tried all the datacenters from the download pages with no difference (even with the one that showed 0 current load). I'm in Europe.

Yeah, I imagine D-Day H-Hour is the worst. For what's that worth my link isn't an issue (300Mbps).

I downloaded the game file really fast...I went to te kitchen and made a coffee and afterwards it was done with downloading...

i also have the same VM speed, but depending on where i use it, also depends on how quick it comes, steam with the larger network can sometimes be the quickest apart from M/S servers, then next time joeblogs down the road with a one man band setup with me being the only one on it

The only other similar report is from a customer with Firefox where the browser somehow download it as a PDF. In that case, redownloading from the Members Area / My Page resolved it. This may also help:

There's no set date yet, but probably before the end of this year. However, anyone who purchases directly from our store will get a free Steam key (redeemable through our Members Area / My Page) when it is released on Steam.

Case closed. I was looking for it in same section as War in the West. When I went back a a few pages I saw it listed as Gary Grisgbys War in the East 2. I own so many games I have many pages in members section.
