Militia division had reduced TOE compared to regular RD.

Ya, you are correct, compared to regular divisions they are "a weeeee bit under-strength" :)

You've given up alot of ground, but your losses aren't too bad, and the Red Army strength is good for this phase....looks like you are making a concerted effort to run for better terrain! At some point in the South you have to turn and fight though, I guess better that it's at the end of the Axis supply line than further forward

Ya, was able to refit and get morale and experience. I believe that is a key. I checked and I am pretty much where others are plus almost 1 million more soldiers. Give or take a turn or 2 at the most. Just have to figure out that magic place. I also don't like City-Forts at the beginning of the game. That drains a great many units away from where they are needed in my opinion. But maybe I am wrong.

I am fighting now on the lower Dnepr & trying to scrounge some units for the defense. The key on river defense, as I am sure many already know, is to have a 2nd line right behind the river line.

This units got some "MASSIVE" drugs during the refit phase! LOL. Nice when you have 100 CPP. Plus he isn't even close to my best Tank Division.

At least it is pretty to look at, for the time being. One attack from a German and the unit will run for the Urals.

Ground Phase

Fuel levels are in the RED in front of Kursk and 3rd PZ is at 4 strength and 6th PZ is at a 6th Strength. The Germans pushing the PZ's to the limit here. Might use the other CAV to help open the pocket but surely will lose both then. Which is ok.

Should now be able to hold the Lower Dnepr 1 more turn minimum. Was able to scrounge up enough units, I hope.

Damn, I had hoped the bridgehead would hold out somehow. The rumanian armor division was the only unit able to cross the river that turn.

Events!!!

Can't complain with this event. At least I overstuffed my other TB's with units so hopefully they don't take VP's and AP's away from me now.

Woodrig is able to do what Model could not. But the Germans were unable to get a unit across it looks like.
