Hey,

I've played quite a few times the RtL scenario to get the hang of it. On my last effort I got a soviet small victory (I played as the axis). The scenario seems rather difficult (to win it). Which scenario would you play next?

do the SW Front. You'll appreciat the lack of forests and swamps

and yes, RTL is difficult, not least you are struggling with the terrain as much as the enemy

I'll second that recommendation. The Southwest Front scenario is an excellent alternate to RTL.

I played the scenario now for the first time after I watched a lot of lets plays, read the manual and here in forum.

I won the scenario, but I have to say I played at easy and FoW and MovementFog were OFF for me and on for Soviets.

@loki
Am I ready to take the next step and play another scenario? Or was it to easy with these settings to win? What would you say when you see my results - how experienced am I? I cannot assess myself..

mess around, take off say FOW, that will make you waste a lot of MP as you explore options, see where that gets you in terms of the final outcome. Try normal settings with the same idea.

of the other scenarios, Typhoon is different, it opens with the same June 1941 feel and then you get to cope with the autumn rains and a much stronger Soviet response. Red Army Resurgent is good as its a real shift of place and stage in the war. I'm not so sure about Red God vs the AI, it seems to find the geographic layout a bit of a challenge.

while Vistula-Berlin is massive, its short and a great place to get to grips with the logistics side of the game

Do you mean turn on FOW (for you)? Or turn off (for the AI)? I ask because I don't know if FoW for AI actually does anything.
