Great campaign so far, your first year advances were terrific, I'm still bogged down in front of Vyazma and trying to get through the marshes.

I'm also just wondering if I am going to get past the first year sudden death yet.

The enemy abandoned positions at Krasnodar. 170th Infantry Division entered the city. 16th PzD was moving towards Krasnodar from northeast. We are about to form a big pocket in this area.

Wiking SS Division captured Armavir. We have now Tuapse and Armavir. We have cut all roads and railroads leading to Maikop and Krasnodar.

We have reached the outskirts of Stalingrad. We will need more troops to take this city. L Corps will be sent as reinforcements. It will take 2-3 weeks before they arrive.

We have cut the vital railroad between Stalingrad and Salsk. This was the last rail supply route to the enemy divisions in this area. They must withdraw to Kalmykia steppes.

Good job advancing into the caucasus! The cool part is, in WITE 2 it's actually possible to get the oil production going at Baku etc. Capturing Baku should probably give you enough VP to win the game, I think

Big fan of this aar!

Thank you! Baku oil fields give 64 VPs. I need only 32 points.

We have a problem on our southern flank. The enemy is not withdrawing over the Kalmykia desert. They have strong forces in the area. It will be difficult to hold the ralroad line if they are going to attack.

Flanks are causing troubles here as well. We need more and more divisions to cover flanks. There is not enough troops to move forward. If the enemy doesn't withdraw, we can't move much further. Maybe we are already overextended...
