HOW DO I ASSIGN ESCORTS FOR TRANSPORTS DROPPING AIR FREIGHT?

THE SCREEN FROM F9 SHOWS A PLACE FOR ESCORTS, BUT NO WAY TO ADD THEM.

The Escorts are probably out of range, and do not show up as possible choises.
