Often i find myself wanting to regroup an entire HQ+ subunits to a new area. I wish i could just tell them all to assemble in a certain hex over the next few turns.

This, i suppose, would also require the introduction of waypoints to que up those movements.

Anyway - how about it? :-)

Strategic movement allows you to cross a lot of space in little time.
And just disbanding a unit, returning the subunits to the SHQ, then raising it on the other end of the empire can be a 2 turn process (but if you got the logistics for it, strategic move is propably easier.

What I would really like is a "gather at OHQ" command. Where the subunits would automagically try to catch up to the OHQ or even strategic move towards it. Or might even be auto-moved using the logisics system to catch up to the OHQ.

How about a merge/ break up command? Moving a single counter would make regrouping a lot easier.

When ordered to merge subunits use MPs at turn end to reach their HQ.
