LOL what has this forum become ? A spam fest ?

Also for the record, I agree totally that Alfred might be one the top off turners in this forum. Let´s see if he flips out at me now

Wow, kind of sorry I opened this thread!

Back to the OP...this is by far and away one of my favorite orders and very frequently used as I generally play Japan.

There is definitely some depth in the orders here, and the local task force and ship Captains also make their own decisions based on local conditions and intel -- it is always quite exciting as you generally can't predict exactly what will happen.

Pay specific attention to do not unload option, and the risk & path settings for the task force, and the distance and fuel available on the ships and when you set the home port.

Enjoy!

Sounds like the British Vulcan raid on the Falklands in the opening phase of their retaking the islands from Argentina - they had to plan air refueling of air refueling tankers to have fuel available for the Vulcans, going and returning!

What exactly is your point in reviving this thread?

Also talking about someone behind his back and teasing him, knowing that said person can't respond at the moment is neither very gentlemanly nor very mature.
I would suggest writing Alfred an e-mail or pm if you want to tell him something.

When you are banned, you can not log in so there is no pm reading either.

@Malloon:

I was away from the forum for some weeks and browsed threads from the last 2 months or so...

Did not know he is banned, cool with me. I would never privately "socialize" w/ such a person anyways - ergo also not write him. Hope that helps Also it is not behind his back, one can still read here even if banned. Also he could simply make a new account, perhaps "defending himself" (or in his case insult) under another name...

Making another account is a violation of the rules. While he is banned, he can not defend himself. You must like to attack people when they are defenseless . . .

This would be against the forum rules.

Sorry, I missed this. Who has been banned? And is there any reason provided?

Alfred was banned.

Only for a week, which is almost up. Let's just say his blunt criticism of wrong information started to be come a bit too cutting for the administrators.

Yes, the admins here are very patient that is not the case in other forums - so Alfred was quite lucky.

I am glad he comes back soon to see if he learned something

Today is my nice and hopeful day so I am sure he did

How can blunt become cutting? English language works in mysterious ways.

Ah, you caught my tongue in cheek use of the terms there!

That sounds like knapping stone like flint, obsidian or some other stone . . .
