I know nothing about this particular game at all, but I just happened to see this while looking at the Task & Purpose site, which is by the way an interesting and informative site about primarily US military affairs.

"In an effort to prove that the developers behind a popular multiplayer vehicle combat game had made a mistake, a player went ahead and published classified British military documents about one of the real-life tanks featured in the game."

I wonder if he won his argument.

Incredible story, thanks for sharing. Since I am playing mostly WW2, I don't think I am at risk.

I read that in fact he didn't, because the dev's stated policy is to only use publicly-available information in the game, so classified info couldn't be included in any event. Ooops.

Yikes! Trying to own the developers and getting self-owned. Karma!

I'm surprised that it doesn't happen more often with so many of the younger people being linked into social networks looking to boost their likes.

I am actually watching this episode from season 3 episode 4, the quote you have written down from Gorkan the reason of why I am watching it is I just finished a book by Dan Abrams on the trial of Jack Ruby. His lawyer was Melvin Belli very popular in the 50’s and 60’s and he was that Gorman ghost in this episode and his real son was one of the kids in this episode.

This is so basic that it is amazing how someone could screw up something that does exists since military games exist.
