In several restarts of the 1941 Campaign (vs AI on normal), I have had a difficult time getting supplies to leave Berlin and get to the frontline troops (or any possibly). I have tried letting the auto-management of the supply depots and practicing what I've seen done in a tutorial. I have not tried using a super-depot. In any case, Berlin is set to 0 and all the depots along the repaired rail are 0's until I have several 1's to 2's to 3's and finally 4's at or near the troops (taking care to use mostly at least level 2 railyards). Berlin has mega amounts of supply available and/or stored, but ships very little each turn (at least from turn 4 on that is). My North-South and East-West double rail-lines are connected as well as possible by turn 4 or 5 and are green. But for almost the entire time from early August until the September rains and mud, and forward from there, I have entire armies (including the Panzer Corps) showing red on the supply icon on their counter and have the new turn supply alerts showing almost the whole line of units North-South as lacking supply. At the start of the turn, I am seeing 15,000 - 25,000 tons of supplies get delivered while in the () it says I needed 75,000+.
Is there something I should be doing that I'm missing?

hmmm... I have not yet experienced that, at least, to the degree you are describing.

Have you done any customization to the scenario?

What does your logistic log show?

Screenshots or saves would help.

Do you have supplies in the depots themselves? If yes, then the issue is the depot to unit link. Check the trucks in units and pool and the supply priority of units. Also, check the logistics log to see what your need is and what is received by units.

If you don’t have supplies in the depots, then it’s the rail network or rolling stock capacity. Turn on the logistics map and look at the rail network. Are the rails green/red? If red, that probably means your network is overtaxed. Consider reducing demand by moving back bombers and Romanians, etc. or consider the network itself—are you using double rails or have you missed a rail link somewhere? You can check for that by pulling up the rail link and checking whether your lines are all green or if there are yellows. If the network is green, then maybe you don’t have enough rolling stock. Try to limit how many troops you rail each turn and your on map refits. Find all the lvl 2 rail yards and build spurs.

Without photos, it’s hard to say more.

No mods. Two things come to mind... it's been raining for 5 or 6 turns in a row and heavy mud... but that shouldn't affect rail to connected 4 depots should it, although it would definitely affect the trucks to the units from those depots. Turn 21 of this present play-through has just been light snow everywhere, and it seems much more supply has gotten through to start turn. Also, I see Berlin shipped about 45,000 tons, and while checking that I noticed that all the rail lines in Germany are yellow, so that might be part of my problem. Finally, I seem to have ignored the many supply depots throughout Germany that are set to 1, assuming they would just ship their supply stock forward to the eastern front depots of higher number... but instead, they all have been receiving various amounts (like 3-7,000 tons on this turn for many of them) and they have from a low of 4000 to a high of 40,000 tons of supply stored. I just turned them all to 0, so hopefully, that helps. I figured that since this has happened (red supply for whole army's) in several plays of 1941, it must be a thing I am not doing correctly. I'll try uploading my last game save, but I delete them when I start a new game and every so often, plus I save when I quit and don't always finish a complete turn. Screenshots are more difficult because as I said this turn of this present play-through has become snow, and it would take several shots to show the rail lines and depots and their present supply.

OK... some screenshots... I'll try and upload the current turn, but I have gotten to this point in other plays.
Nope... upload of save gives an error message that it's not supported.

Really, I can't see trying to upload 5 or 6 screenshots to try and show what I mean.
I thought maybe someone else had experienced my supply problems and could easily identify what to do. I'll have to go to paint and change screenshots to a supported jpeg from png.

My computer is unable to upload now... just spins on an endless loop as I attempt to post more screenshots. I shouldn't have started this as it is not easy to do I guess... btw, I have uploaded many many times over the years, so not sure why all the error messages about unsupported files and fake path etc.

Even without adjusting all your German rail depots, I have a hard time understanding why your troops are suffering such huge supply deficits as early as turn 6, unless something very strange going on.

There should be a logistical report you could upload that would help shed some light on this mystery.

The following is an 'example' of where it would be located:

\Gary Grigsby's War in the East 2\Dat\Save\1941 Campaign (7)\logs

and would be named something 'like':

EventLog(Turn 013 9-14-1941 Ax).txt

The examples are not 'exact', but close enough for you to find the EventLog file with the logistic details.

ok. I'll look for it and see if I can upload it. I watched a couple of play-throughs up to the end of 1941 on youtube, so I think I'll take the time to re-read the manual and spend some time looking more closely at the AAR's. Then I'll start the campaign again and try paying closer attention to supply (and trucks also).

upload of turn 18 event log. I don't have any before that as I think I erased a bunch last time I updated the beta. I guess I could upload T19 and T20, but not sure what they would show. I have never really examined these files.
