I am struggling finding the key.. in witw moving sub units from the senior to army to cores was seemingly streight forward.. now its a mess.. has the rules changed? I started a against ia game without locked then changed them.. perhaps this is why I cannot find sub units and then they show up ??

What do you mean exactly? What sub units? Are you talking about Support Units "SUs"?

The WitE2 system is very similar to the WitW system, no significant changes have been made, as far as I can recall.

If you didn't see any SUs when trying to assign, maybe your target HQ/unit was separated from the HQ holding the SUs by water hexes, or even isolated?

I xertainly need to check on a fresh LOCKED game and see where these su units are attaching as they seem to be moved from the reserves when I ask for them to be .. but they show up at various hq has me thinking the game isnt obeyiong me in game changes to locked thanks sorry my poor English \
