Playing on the newest 1.01.09 beta. In a GC 1941 against Bitburger, whenever I run GS missions now, fighters assigned to the GS directive only show up as "patrolling aircraft", meaning far fewer numbers (and as a result much higher A2A losses) than if they escorted the planes directly. My level bombers are also suffering extremely high Op losses (compared to previous patches) even though they had 0 fatigue at the start of the ground phase. Picture below is one example of what I described. Same thing is occurring in my SP campaigns where all air units are well supplied at 0 fatigue.

This is not working under .09 and .11
I think this means that GS will in general not be viable for Axis after T1 during '41 which has quite some impact on the game.

Does anyone have a save for this (pre-save)? I've received saves from Tyrone re AS, but not for basic escorts of bombers. I know at some point Dennis removed drop tanks from some of the early German fighters. I wonder if some of what you are seeing is due to now shorter ranges on the German fighters. I don't recall when this happened, but I'm sure it's in the whatsnew file. If there is a difference I can see between a recent version and an older version using the same save, then I can track down what is causing this. Thanks.
