Or listen to the podcast linked at the link in the original post?
It only relates to the professional wargaming market. In the podcast one of the interviewees refers to the hobby wargaming community as a cesspool of toxic masculinity. Embarrassing to me as a hobby wargamer that the responses to that original thread proved the point.

Which podcast?

I think they could have summed it up and just said : "Don't be a jerk and invite people to play a game with you."

Here it is, I'll stand by this too.

As professional gamers we are committed to the Derby House Principles:

1.Promoting inclusion and diversity in professional wargaming, through the standards we set, the opportunities we offer, and access to activities we organise.
2.Making clear our opposition to sexism, racism, homophobia, and other forms of discrimination across the board, as well as in wargaming.
3.Encouraging a greater role and higher profile for colleagues from underrepresented groups in our professional activities.
4.Seeking out and listening to the concerns and suggestions of our colleagues as to how our commitment to diversity and inclusion could be enhanced.
5.Demonstrating our commitment to diversity and inclusion through ongoing assessment of progress made and discussion of future steps.

No, nor did I see anything about a link to a podcast.

I don't care about diversity and inclusion, I care about the capabilities of the individuals. I want the best people available to get the best product and/or service. To me, that does not need either diversity nor inclusion but rather the peoples abilities, personality, and/or character.

Anyone who intentionally excludes someone from contributing because of a factor or factors that does not affect the final result is wrong. Someone who is included that is not capable because of a factor or factors that has no relevance, that is also wrong. Those things are not helping to get the best product and/or service provided.

As far as the interviewee who stated that, I know nothing about that individual, nor their relevance, nor what their experience is in the wargaming market.

Link is at the bottom Mentioned in Dispatches: The Derby House Principles

I think "Don't be a jerk" summarizes a lot of what's gone wrong with human interaction in the digital age.

So will Slitherine be judging people based on their skin colour and discriminating against people based on their skin colour when it come to opportunities offered and access to activities organized by them?

The answer would have to be yes if the objective is "promoting diversity"
