I assign support unit to combat unit but I can remove it from the combat unit in the same turn. There is both x and * beside the unit. I have attached a save. Thanks!

Thanks, I've added this to our bug list. This seems to have started with 1.01.00, probably due to changes when in-game scaling was added.
