USSR Infantry Coefficient a big change ?

in SOE 39 I noticed an important change in the defense and attack coefficients of Russian corps and armies.
for the corps all the defense and attack coefficients for the Tank light Armor and Hard category are reduced to 0.
Is this change really wanted? because I think it will give a very important advantage to the axis.

This change is putting things back to how they used to be, before I accidentally gave the Red Army equal stats to everyone else's.

When I first corrected that, I forgot to change some of the stats back, and so the recent change does that.

So now we're back to where we were for most of the history of this game, and it's the reason that the USSR can research Infantry Weapons up to level 3 whereas everyone else is capped at 2.

I hope that explains it.

thank you bill for your answer,
I have been following this different update and this is precisely the point.
Before Russian infantry units were updated with the same parameters as other nations the parameters were different from what they are now. For example the original defense coef of corps against tanks was 1, now it is 0.

The reason was that earlier this year I only corrected some of the stats for Corps and Armies, so the remainder had to be done in a more recent patch.

Someone pointed out that they weren't yet back to how they used to be, so the recent change just addresses that.

I pointed out the discrepancy which was quite silly being I only play Allies.

Its still reasonable to ask if over the period of time that there was the error were the Axis strengthened and we end up with an Axis advantage.

Starting some new scenarios will see.
