In spite of lack of tutorial I've been able to jump in and start playing. Going to take some time to learn the finer points of the game.

Map and units are beautiful. I also love clicking on units to read the description. Would have been nice to see a bit more descriptions on the differences between types of units like infantry and variants of the Sherman, but that a minor thing.

Interesting how you can set the AI processing speed. I set it on long for a campaign game and its does take a while on my powerful machine.

So far I really like what I see.

I can assure you, once I have access to my main PC back home (with the Reserves in the middle of nowhere atm) I'll try to create some Tutorial slides like I did with TOAW IV; I am sure you know about them, right?

I haven’t seen your particular videos on TOAW. Haven’t played that for years, but anything would be appreciated.

This game is so well designed and thought out you can start playing pretty easily without really understanding what’s going on under the hood and still do ok. I did watch a couple of videos and I pretty much have the gist of the game as well as what’s happening under the hood and what to look for and do.

Can’t say enough on just how well done this game is. From the graphics, interface, mechanics and overall feel. It’s too the point where I’m now wondering if the upcoming Flashpoint Campaigns expansion is going to use the same or similar formula. Things like having a setting where the AI can take longer to make better turns and the overall look and feel.
