Either this is real or there is a clerical error in the reporting. You decide. I am going to go with a clerical error :-)

The Freight lost is the one that goes from Riga to the Combat Units.

I am not surprised by the number though.

Ya, I was like WoW when I saw it. But will be corrected soon enough ;-)

Manual rule;

4.10.13. UNIt RESUPPLY

Units look to draw freight from the nearest depot, which can be some distance away. The further the unit is from the depot, the greater usage of vehicles and fuel to move the supplies and the more that is lost in transit.

I believe that is what you are referring to

You may want to look for your lost freight in the bottom of the Gulf of Riga just east of the large island south of Kuressaare.

I am on turn 4 of my game and I shifted my naval interdiction from Gulf of Riga to Odessa this turn. This allowed the Russian interdiction north and NE of the large island to be 1 (o for German). I had 2253 lost into/at Parnu and 2050 lost to Riga. If the Soviet interdiction from Saaremaa Island is even higher then that may have caused the loss to get up over 4000. Check Parnu and see how much is lost there (assuming you have control).

I am assuming that naval interdiction can eliminate maritime freight movements.

There was no Naval interdiction in the Gulf of Riga the turn of this loss. Just nature of the beast of loss of supply.

50% seems a bit much to account to random loss. Hopefully, the weather was bad, and the partisans were active to account for that many broken down/lost trucks hauling freight.
