I saw it's in multiple aircraft in CWDB, but just listed as ELINT. Does it actually work, or is it just a stand-in? There's barely any info in the sensor DB, anyway. It should detect truck ignitions, but the trouble of differentiating diesel compression engines and gasoline engines seems like enough reason not to implement it.

Perhaps add to CWDB string. Suggest making it an IR sensor maybe?

It is not modelled as IRL at the moment, sorry.

Dimitris: No problem, it's probably a monster to simulate and Matrix has bigger things on their table. Though it'd probably be nice if it could be marked as not simulated in the DB viewer and such.

BDukes: Black Crow detected the radio emissions from spark plugs. It definitely qualifies as (excruciatingly complex) ELINT.
