The issue have been mentioned first by Turkey. Here is a test scenario describing the situation.
Cargo Test - To Drop Or Not To drop ?
This is a test scenario designed to showcase what I feel is an issue with cargo operations in CMO : that a transport platform with a non paradrop capable loadout still assigned to a paradrop mission, without raising an issue.

Let's drop... not.
At scenario start, a mission is initiated, on the NATO side, to airdrop NATO personnel from Catania airfield. Lyra #1 is assigned to this mission. Please note that while being a C-130J transport aircraft, its loadout is not paradrop capable.
Observe that upon arrival over the drop zone, the transporting platform, here a C-130H with a non airdrop capable loadout, will RTB without actually para-dropping its payload, considering its mission being over.
Expected result :
It is my opinion that the player would benefit from a reminder that the mission won't go as intended. For example, through that behavior being notified as an issue in the Mission Editor window.
