I can download new scenarios, and the read me tells me to place them in the scen file, but it wont show up as an option to play. I have even tried numbering them and still cant play...what am I doing wrong?

not sure what your problem is but:
download the scenario you want to play;
find the "Matrixgames" folder on your hard disk and double click on it;
look for the "scen" folderand double click on it;
then come back to your scenario(which normally comes in a zip format) and unzip it on your desktop then drag and drop the content of the zip file(must always be 3 or 4 files) into the scen folder.
Before doing so, be sure to know what the title of the scenario is, so that you can easily find it in the scenario list, once you launch the game.

Last, check not to have a double installation of the game, on your PC......
