The weather is really the winner on the day. A few aircraft fly but a concentrated strike is not possible.
The DDs attempting to cull some AGs at Lae arrive as the target leaves teh vacinity. My DDs retreat and are 2 hexes out of GG.

The Albacore has two strikes at shipping around the Northern port of Momote. All to no avail however as aim or dud torpedoes provide no hits.

The paltry attacks the weather allows all fail to get teh well hidden supplies

My Aussies have made it to Buna so all planes bar the Heavies are put on port strikes. The Aussies will do an exploratory bombardment.
They will be helped by more aircraft readying for strikes. I will have to get more supplies into GG - the bombing runs are sponging up my supplies.
