Whew. Bought it yesterday and finished this afternoon. Not from the game being too short, but because I wouldn't stop playing. I recommend it to those that want an atmospheric, well done WW2 fps. I am usually really unhappy with scripted games, but this one's pretty great fer the most part. Play the hardest level, no health packs.

I could have done without the car chase, the manning of the AA gun and the tank mission (though the last one was enjoyable). The infantry battles were great. Pegasus Bridge (day and night) was amazing. The firefight during the counterattack was the best fps moment for me yet. BUT then I felt it was somewhat less enjoyable when I had to take out ALL of the enemy tanks myself. "Nobody fights alone"-I feel like I did! The fellow soldiers allied to you are great for atmosphere, but pretty random when it comes to helping you out I found.

I would LOVE if someone were to do a single player game from this engine with pure infantry fighting. Realistic WW2 locales. Randomly spawned AI, not reliant on heavy scripting (like OFP). Lastly, no stupid "fly the airplane/drive the tank" missions-and no stealth missions. I'd play it forever.
