If it's improved substantially, it probably will help. I've already ordered HTTR, so if I give it another try, at least I won't have to DL 250+ megs of patches. :D

I dunno man. There were a lot of folks playing it a year after release and that was my last memory of it. The social bonds that develop through squad affiliation is a strong tie to the game that kept me around a long time. [Edit] I guess I'm saying a lot of folks were playing it, and had been playing it for a year when I left, and to me anyway, it was bad then. [End edit]

I may just well give it a try in light of the fact that it will already be loaded on the HTTR CD when it arrives. I may be surprised. If I am, I'll be the first to admit it.
