Hi there!

This is a old RT Operational game focusing the invasion o Russia in WWII. Does anyone know about this game? It looks like a huge project o 5 years and I cannot get more info from it sinse 1999. Did the game come out?

Check it here:

I certainly do not remember this one. However, I do not even think that iMagic is in business anymore. I could be wrong. It actaully looks a lot like one of their earlier releases iMagic American Civil War. If it is anything like that game, I would buy this RtM in a heart-beat.

RtM is a classic vapourware game.

It doesn't exist, and last I heard will not exist in the future.

Sad, because it has always sounded like the ultimate game by all that have encountered it.

But to answer your question, no you have not missed it, and no it is unlikely to appear...ever.

Want a good comparison, see the WiF forum for the sort of challenge involved with making a perfect game that suits everyone :)

Never came out. Official it's still in development. The game will be online according to Jeff Billings (Normal publisher rights are still in the hands off whoever took over IMagic)
Btw this is what they doing nowadays: http://www.lostbattalion.com/

Was a great follower of RtM for years. Luckily there was Panthergames with their AA serie. Toyed with both RtM and the AA series (RDOA and HttR) and if you liked RtM you will love HttR. Although HttR is on tactical level (Division/Battalion level), the concepts of both of them are more or less he same.

Sorry, Les but WIF is not a good comparison

I looked forward to this game for years. Add it to the great list of what might have been....

Didn't the same thing just happen to Harpoon 4?

Mentioned WiF only because until I see it on sale, WiF will just be a neat idea everyone likes that never really showed up.

I has been a looooong time since it was first mentioned, just like RTM, and neither exist yet...really.

This is one of those legends that coulda been, but never materialized. It seems like my ideal game for operational level. Let's hope that when the HTTR devs get around to the Eastern Front, it will be sooner rather than later!

Well the Harpoon developers, AGSI, are still around and recently released Harpoon Classic Gold, an update of the original Harpoon - details here - http://www.advancedgaming.biz/agsi.htm

It looks like any Harpoon IV release is still a long way away though.
