Maybe I'm slower than most ,but I just found out that you can toggle the willy meter off in this game by pressing the " * " button while in a game. Does anybody know if this is a parameter that once set in a pbem match , is fixed and cannot be changed by the other player?

D'oh!

If you are slow, then I'm slower. Didn't know about *. Thought only H2H did that.

That's the nickname for the "*" that shows up when your unit is spotted. It occurs beside the unit's name. # shows you the unit has been fired on in the past round.

Ahh, none of this matters. Matt Reeves is working on new infantry icons that look like shrubbery (Monty Python--"How not to be seen".) This opens up a whole new world for PBEM play. One Tommy to another: "Hey, mate, didja see that shrub move?" Other Tommy: "Cor, ya been tipplin' again, 'aven't ya?"

Tell him to make some that look like burning vehicles. It's a new tactic-- wear the shell of your destroyed armor. Slowly creep across the map.
Tommy to Tommy, "When did we kill that Tiger?"
"Oh I killed it all by myself."
"Like hell you did"
