Paul V has said in the past that it is the operating system they are targeting. I think that is what Paul said he ran under.
thanks, John.

------------------------------------------------- Not to worry. I am running it on XP right now.
If anything, it runs more brisk on this OS.
You may experience some crankiness with xp involving other hardware or software, but SPwaw
seems to be running like a watch. By the way, XP can be set to run in an OS emulation mode with any individual program.
It will emulate w95, w98, ME, NT, or 2000.
This feature has come in handy in a couple of
instances. Drivers for most mainstream hardware
and software are now available online.

The only significant issue XP shares wit its NT kernal brethern Win2K - namely for some bizarre reason you can;t use Command and control "on" in teh mega Campaign. It works fine in all the other game modes...Thanks Bill G

I just got SP Arsenal, and it will not run under 2000, or XP.

I have been using XP since it was released. I love the new OS. It is so much more stable.
But as to SPWAW I have had no problems. The graphics are actually more crisp and colorful since I upgraded. So get XP. Works fine. Dodya

SP Arsenal is DOS-based, and no, DOS-based applications won't run under 2000 or NT.
FWIW, I've also got XP, and SPWAW is running QUITE SMARTLY, and is stable...

MOst DOS games WILL run under XP, but you have to configure teh right compatibility mode if the game is not in the auto-configure list. XP is even more DOS friendly than DOS was in many regards. [ November 09, 2001: Message edited by: Paul Vebber ]
