Very annoying bug for Russian Steel

In the first scenario I bought some t-27's to later be upgraded to t-34's. Most died, and now when I try to upgrade them to t-34's all I get is a t-34 without a main gun. Obviously this is a pretty big problem for me so does anyone know what is wrong? I thought maybe repairing the t-27 first before upgrading it would fix the problem but it didn't. I played Russian Steel a long time ago with version 7.1 and had somewhat similar bugs happen to me, but never quite so bad as this.

The Russians did have a Command vehicle version of the T-34. I proberly sugesting the obvious, but you have checked that there is not other version of the T-34 available?

I don't have my notes here but there was the T-34/76 make 1941/ 1942/ 1943 plus the T-34/86 ( nice big gun to kill Germans with). I pretty sure that there was a T-34/76 command tank with thicker armour but I am sure that it had a main gun.

I basically just rambling now and don't know for sure. It may just be as you said a glitch.
In that case start again or upgrade again to something else, KV-1's would be nice.

No, I've tried the KV-1, same problem. It just comes up with only machine guns. Oh well, I guess I'll just start over and pray it doesn't happen again. Thanks anyway!!

which SP version are u using ?

russian steel onyl works proper with 7.1.

no H2H or 8.xxx

Listen, it's no bug!

The thing is that the crews are not adapt yet to the change of armamment. Sometimes you'll get only the main gun and not the machine guns: It happened to me on numerous occations when I upgraded as you did. From a T-27 to T-34('41, '42', '43) or a T-34 to TO-34, when I got a tank with only the main gun and the other with only the flame gun; also When I upgraded the Ba-6 to a KV-1s I got the tank with only one machine gun!!!

The entire armamment will be available in the following scenario, don't worry

I find this very realistic. It is an example of the situation in the russian armor force throughout the war. The crews were either on extended training or in insufficient numbers late in the war.
