Still in... 22 yrs and counting... Armor officer now working in my secondary area of Engineers with the US Army Corps of Engineers, in Wash DC, as the Chief of Plans, working on future military contingencies. My recent work in OIF, was as the G3 (OPS) officer for Task Force RIO (Restore Iraq Oil)... With less than 45 days to plan and deploy for the saving the Iraqi oil fields, fighting the well fires and getting oil production back up... to help rebuild Iraq

Worked with a great team of Brits and USMC guys/gals to make it all happen.

USAF '78 - '95 retired at 17 years. Tactical Space Communications Supervisor. Kid mentioned it earlier, but it is weird watching shows on History channel, Discovery, etc. about systems I was debriefed on... Got a laugh teaching ASCII code when I mentioned to the younger generation in my class about something called a "teletype". Great times, great people, wouldn't trade it for the world.

US Navy Nuclear Electrician 1987-1993. After training served my entire stint on the USS Enterprise CVN-65. Kinda wish I could go back in, but my health won't allow it.

Went into the Navy BECAUSE of my love for the Pacific Theatre. Guess what my favorite carrier is? :)

My military duty lasted exactly 30 seconds: the time to ask the clerk at the Dutch consulate in Paris if I would ever be called up and for her to reply that as long as I lived abroad it wouldn't happen.
