In Scenario #10 I noticed that my US Navy pilot pool was completely empty by 1/8/45 and I started getting inexperienced replacements. By 2/25/45 I had lost 111 Hellcats (68 ops losses) and 55 of the replacement pilots were inexperienced. Not only is the replacement model flawed but the training of low experienced pilots needs some improvement. The worst three examples were pilots with 29 exp and 26 combat missions, 32 exp and 33 combat missions, and 35 exp and 42 combat missions. None of these pilots had any kills as a kill raises the exp quite a bit. I also checked the experience of US pilots in the pools by year and every year the pilot pools had the same experience as 1941, I thought that US pool pilots experience increased by year.

I'm assuming the national pilot experience level listed in the Pilot Replacement Pool should change over time to reflect the table shown in the manual.

However, what is currently showing at the start of each scenario is taken from an entry in the scenario database.

I'll bring this up in the dev forum and see what the go is.

Any idea why the US navy pilots that enter in 1945 as inexperienced average 30 exp instead of 37.5 which is 1/2 of the published 75 that experienced pilots are suposed to enter at.

Same situation as before. Look at the listed experience for US Navy pilots in the Replacement Pool from the '45 scenario (not the manual). It says experience 60. Half of 60 is 30.

Can't give you any further feedback till I get a response from the designers.
