I downloaded the game on it's first day of availability and I jumped straight into the full campaign as the allies. I'm just wondering how my fellow grognards who did similar are getting along?

My campaign breaks down as follows.
It's the start of February 1942.
The Japanese have taken all of the Malaysian peninsula and have just taken Rangoon with two infantry divisions. In the Phillipines several northern bases have fallen but Manila continues to hold out and is yet to come under ground attack.
Rabaul has fallen and some parts of Sothern Borneo also. The allies have just retaken Wake and the 24th US division landed at Emirou under the cover of a carrier task group, they succesfully captured the island and a wing of 48 B-17s landed at their new base the day after.
Allied losses = 2 American BBs sunk at Pearl. 1 American CL. 5 Allied Destroyers. 1 US and 2 dutch submarines. 1 US AV, 5 PTs and about 20 cargo vessels. 2 British BBs were also bashed up and limped into Dutch ports.
Japanese Losses = 3 x CL. 3 x DD. 1 x AV, 11 patrol craft. About 45 cargo craft.

Notable performances = HMS Thanet's amazing flight from Singapore sinking 3 APs on the way and damaging a CA. Eventually she ran into a Japanese air attack of off Rangoon and is in dock at Trincomalee.

HMS Durban and Dragon surprising 40 odd enemy APs in the Malaya straights and wreaking havoc before returning to Port unsathed.
