I've re-read the rules and think I have a tiny problem, just thought I would bring it up.

Playing scenario with Coral Sea (I wanted to see the difference from UV).

I had some vindicators on board the Long Island.

I traveled to wihin where I thought the planes could reach and then went to transfer planes to base: Port Moresby.

The transfer had a "-r" switch.

I clicked the transfer and my planes appeared in PM some damaged but with the majority ready to fly.

So, shouldn't they all be damaged, and also how do I crate them to PM from the middle of the ocean?

They obviously waited till the ocean currents were just right and then tossed them over the side.

You are correct in that if a/c do perform a rail transfer then they should all arrive in a damaged state.

If only a handful were damaged from the transfer then they would have flown. The "-r" should not be appearing in your circumstances.

I'll try a test to capture the problem and report it.

Every time I send my aircraft via sea or rail they always appear as 100% damaged at their destination.

It appears that whenever you order an air unit to transfer from a ship to a land base, you will get the "-r" appear on your list of possible detination bases.

Just ignore the "-r" at the moment under these circumstances as it appears to have no effect on the end result (the a/c will transfer exactly like they should).

I'll report it.

Cheers.
