I think Andy felt bad about yesterdays slaughter of the innocent....he provided a big juicy undefended convoy 1 hex of Singapore today (well, the 6 P38s on LRCAP claimed enough victims). Some 120 bombers savaged the convoy. Expecting the heavies tomorrow. Undefended convoys is pretty much all we're good at this days. I do restrict bomber range Laurent, problem is that sometimes other and better defended convoys move into the range that is needed, e.g. to reach Banjarmasan. This immediately triggers our bombers suicide instincts!-( Sometimes I don't have fighters with a normal range of 5-6 hexes available for sweep or escort missions. Java is very much a secondary theater. Kamis seems to be working, but not all the time and not always properly. Today 9!!!!! experienced Sallys all dived on and hit an LCS.
