I wonder if my women will ever understand men and their war gaming addictions... Was in the middle of a veery interesting combat replay and I got multiple questions regarding a H&M advertisement on the tv in the background I don't know Wild Willie - lots of pilots lost despite of subs in most hexes. Shinden pilot losses are usual a lot lower than the rest - that's the good news. There are indeed many approaches to make the Uber CAP less effective Cap & Gown. Hope they will find the best solutions for AE! Me thinks to little attention is paid to the late war phase. When huge number of ships, TFs and strikes are involved complete chaos reigns. Well, another carrier TF from Marcus will arrive to reinforce Andy tomorrow. Today we bloodied another whole batch - again at a high price but not to bad really. I found an opening and sent in lots of Shindens to Amami - I knew lots would be destroyed on the ground but this was the most effective way of engaging his CAG. Each time Andy is forced to divert his 4Es one of the Okinawa bases is reopened for business. Must admit that we need some time for R&R ourselves now, but Andy must be running low on CAP fighters now. Today he landed another huge batch of troops. Now he has 300 000 thousand troops on our little atoll Tokyo Rose talks about 5 Marines lying on top of each other for each square meter of atoll. Andy did force a 1-1 odds today, but while we lost 7500 casualties he lost 17500!! Not sure he can afford this, we will wreck his entire Army before Amami falls. We will continue our efforts to harass the enemy and bring in more troops. Losses is not an issue, the longer we fight now the less time the enemy will have to prepare for an invasion of the Home Islands. I haven't returned this turn to Andy yet, lots of micro management before the turn is done and it's late already. Just 2 more days and it's Easter vacation. Going to Tenerife on Saturday, will be a good weeks break then.
